I got this clip from a friends Instagram when she went to one of their live performances around 4/21/23. Nox Novacula is a death rock band from Seattle. I know this isn’t a lot to go off of and don’t blame you if you can’t find it cus i’m having even less luck

I really like this style of goth music but i dont know what subgenre it is. I want to listen to more like it. Can y'all please help?

Not the first goth song you heard but the song that made you realize that you might be goth. I want to check your songs out. Been needing something to listen to that I may not have heard before.

I'm talking about something similiar to the sound of e.g. "Sea, Swallow Me" – Cocteau Twins "For you (Lois)" – Bootblacks "Lost" – Autumn's Grey Solace etc…

I'm currently making a playlist and would appreciate some suggestions that resemble this kind of vibe 🙂

Also, I'm not exactly the most goth fashioned person so any shops (England) would you recommend? I want to slowly integrate more goth fashion into my life.

Was just thinking about this in the moment. There are these songs I find amazing, but the bands never did anything else remotely like them. It's hard to do that repeatedly. It's not necessarily because the lack the talent, just never did anything similar. Leaves such a yearning for what will never be.

The one's I'm thinking about right now are The Last Song by Trisomie 21(I like this version best, nothing to do with the dancing people), Not What I Expected by Crispy Ambulance, Shaving My Neck by Gene Love Jezebel, and Man of Straw by Sad Lovers and Giants.

I may or may not have some albums on repeat but that's between me and you-
